Pufahl announces retirement


Glasgow Clan defenceman Matt Pufahl has announced his retirement from playing professional hockey, the 26-year-old took to Twitter on Saturday to make the announcement.

The Saskatoon, Canada native joined the Clan last summer from HKM Zvolen in Slovakia and carried out an MBA with Glasgow Caledonian University during his time in Scotland.

Prior to turning professional, Pufahl had played for Acadia University in USports from 2014 to 2018.

The Clan would like to thank Matt for his efforts during his time with the club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
