Thunder name Hannah Darlington as WBBL/07 captain

Sydney Thunder has named 19-year-old Hannah Darlington as its WBBL|07 captain at today’s shirt presentation ceremony.

Darlington stands in for Rachael Haynes, who told the team she won’t be joining it in the immediate future after the birth of her son Hugo, and other factors. They include quarantine; state border closures and the hamstring injury Haynes suffered while playing for Australian in the recent international series against India.
