Western Australia One Day Cup Squad

Western Australia have announced three changes to the 13-player squad for their upcoming Round 5 Marsh One-Day Cup clash with Tasmania at Blundstone Arena.

David Moody, Cameron Gannon, and Sam Whiteman are the inclusions, replacing Jason Behrendorff (illness), Nick Hobson (back) and Lance Morris (side strain).

Whiteman, who stood tall as captain by compiling an unbeaten 176 during WA’s Sheffield Shield game against Tasmania this week, returns to the white ball side after recovering from delayed onset concussion. His selection offsets the loss of talented batter Hobson.

Meantime, pace bowlers Moody and Gannon fill the void left by injured quick Morris and experienced left-armer Behrendorff.

WA currently sit atop the One-Day Cup standings with three wins and a loss from four appearances. Tasmania (one win, one loss) are third.

The match will be broadcast live on Kayo, Foxtel, SportFM, and cricket.com.au.

It is the Alcohol. Think Again Warriors’ last fixture before Perth Scorchers begin their KFC Big Bash Campaign against Brisbane Heat at Optus Stadium on December 8.
