Strikers include O'Neil for weekend matches

The Adelaide Strikers have added Annie O'Neil for a weekend of matches critical to the team's chances of making the rebel WBBL|06 finals.

Top-order batter O'Neil comes into the squad for replacement player Katie Perkins, who has been recalled by New Zealand Cricket for logistical quarantine purposes.

The Strikers first play the Sydney Thunder on Saturday at Drummoyne Oval, before taking on the Perth Scorchers at North Sydney Oval on Sunday.

The team in blue will be aiming for back-to-back wins in the last weekend of the minor rounds to give themselves the best possible chance of securing a spot in the top four.
