Marcus Johnsson signs for Glasgow Clan


Glasgow Clan are delighted to announce the signing of Swedish forward Marcus Jonsson from Swedish division 1 side Tegs.

The 28-year-old joins the Clan in his first move outside of the Sweden, having previously played for Allsvenskan sides VIK Västerås, AIK & IF Björklöven, the latter two where he was alternate captain.

Marcus, who hails from Umeå in north of the country is 6'0" tall and joins the Clan on the back of a successful early season at his local side who play at the 5,400 capacity A3 Arena.

The Swede has recorded 12 points (5+7) in ten games during the 2019-20 season and has amassed 77 points in the Allsvenskan during his career.

Clan head coach Zack Fitzgerald is delighted to be able to add an extra body to his line-up:

Marcus will wear #33 during his time with the Clan and is due to arrive in Glasgow this Tuesday.
