The Winter Warm Up had a good week at the Extraco Event Center in Waco, TX. The Texas Super Stake got the week going with Bill McMorris making it back to back wins in the first 2 Super Stakes this year on RVF Titus owned by Rio Vista Farm. Second went to Santino ridden by Susan McMorris and owned by Andrea Adams. Third place ribbon went home with Leslie Turner riding Logano owned by Amy Stanley.

On Friday, 17 entries competed in the $2500 USHJA National Derby. Maggie Seipel came out on top after the two rounds on Johnnie Martin-Carey’s Premonition. Second went to Clark Kent ridden by Megan Mullane and owned by Ashley Smith. Third went to Mary Riggs riding Lanzer for Viviana Yerkes.

In the Jumper ring, the $5000 Frostbite Jumper Classic was the highlight on Friday as Katherine Huffstutler bettered the field on her horse Quicksilver. Second went to Chacco Lait owned and ridden by Avery Erickson and third went to Celine Myers riding her CHF Cabriole.

On Saturday the feature class, the $10,000 "All in One” Jumper Classic, saw 12 riders, jumping different fence heights, tackle Patrick Rodes' 13 effort course. Thirteen became the lucky number for Avery Erickson on her Chacco Lait as she took home the top ribbon. Second went to Rocktop Dreamer owned and ridden by Angela Bowles and third went to MTM Mrs Yowza owned by MTM Farm and ridden byAlexandra Gonzalez.

The drawing for the Clothes Horse scrim was held Sunday and Susan McMorris was the winner of the beautiful scrim. The $3000 Low Child Adult Classic took center stage Sunday with Bailey Robinson on October Hill Sales’s OHF Cordani winning the class. Second went to MTM Mrs Yowza ridden by Alexandra Gonzalez and third went to NTEC Dudley owned and shown by Annette Diaz.

The Hunter ring wrapped up a good week with the Junior/Amateur Hunter Classic. The class winner was Maro Reppas riding Stacy Lane-Sanderson's Hashtag. Second went to Soho owned by Jane Gilday and ridden by Olivia Clayton and third went Promise Me and owner rider Anna Binder.
