Guillaume Doucet leaves the Clan
The Glasgow Clan would like to thank Canadian forward Guillaume Doucet following his departure from the club.
The 32-year-old, Moncton, New Brunswick native joined the Clan from Italian club Milano Rossoblu back in December as a replacement for Josh Gratton.
During 40 games with the Clan, Doucet scored 16 goals and assisted on a further 18 in all EIHL competitions.
Clan head coach Pete Russell thanked Doucet for his time with the club: "Obviously bringing Guillaume to Glasgow was an easy decision for me.
"I had worked with him in Milton Keynes and after he'd left Milan, it was a perfect option for us to replace Gratton.
"His arrival certainly kick started our season and was at catalyst in finishing 4th and making the Challenge Cup semi-finals.
"I'd like to thank Guillaume for all his efforts last season and everyone at the Clan wishes him all the best in his exciting new career path."
